The Indiana Career Accelerator Fund (ICAF), created by the Indiana General Assembly in 2021 and operated by Accelerate Indiana, has temporarily paused the acceptance and issuance of new income share agreements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The ICAF program has experienced tremendous growth since inception of the pilot period in 2021, helping nearly 1,600 students access funding to train and receive credentialing and certifications in high-wage, high-demand careers. We will utilize the time during the pause to evaluate the pilot program outcomes, continue to seek alternative funding sources, and refine a plan to submit to the Indiana General Assembly leading up to the 2025 budget session.
Students issued an income share agreement through the ICAF program may continue to reach out to customer support with any questions they may have regarding their income share agreement and repayment.
We encourage education and training providers and students to work together to identify other potential opportunities to fund training, including the Indiana Workforce Ready Grant and other programs through your local WorkOne office.
We look forward to resuming acceptance of ICAF applications at a later date.
Accelerate Indiana is a state-funded program to help Indiana residents accelerate their careers by accessing training programs for high-wage, high-demand jobs. Only vetted training programs who demonstrate highly successful student outcomes may participate. Qualified Education Programs certified by Accelerate Indiana will be able to serve more prospective students through this new, trailblazing funding option.
