TRAINING PROGRAMS

What do I need to apply?

A Candidate Program is location specific for application and certification purposes. While a sponsoring/parent institution may offer the same credential training program across multiple campuses/locations and in a virtual format, each must have its own respective Application for Consideration submitted. If a single sponsoring/parent institution submits individual Applications for Consideration for the same program offered at different locations (and/or in a virtual format), they must acknowledge that in each respective Application for Consideration.

Applications may reference one another regarding specific eligibility criteria information. If a Candidate Program, especially if it is new(er), does not have data to determine eligibility criteria concerning Student Completion Rate, Graduate Job Placement, or Graduate Earnings/Wages, the Certification Advisory Committee may consider Proxy Data to provisionally satisfy that requirement. For example, a sponsoring/parent institution may cite the student outcomes of one of its Candidate Programs (or Qualified Education Programs) as Proxy Data in support of the application for the same training program located elsewhere or a very similar training program. An example of additional information in support of an application could include a Candidate Program demonstrating a recent significant improvement in student outcome data versus historical averages. While Candidate Programs are strongly encouraged to utilize these options, it is up to the discretion of the Certification Advisory Committee how to consider this information in accordance with Accelerate Indiana certification polices.

Prior to submitting the Application for Consideration on behalf of a Candidate Program, please review the Accelerate Indiana Institution & Program Certification Policies Guide.

While these pages, the above guide, and application contain instructions and guidance, you may also find the Provider & Training Program Application FAQ to be helpful.
